Francie made her Sacrament of Confirmation this weekend! How cute are she and her good friend Bailey… seven years later ☺️ She chose Wendy as her sponsor – Wendy is like Francie’s coach, mentor, therapist and second mom for all things horses and rodeo (she sold Francie her beloved Redman) and is the best supporter and counselor! She and her husband Bob have been around rodeo their whole lives, team rope together and are so good to Francie. Wendy had some great life advice and gifted Francie a beautiful leather bible with her name embossed on it along with some wonderful life advice. Confirmation only happens in our small town every 3-4 years so all the high schoolers were confirmed (7 Catholics!) and our Vicar came from the Bishop’s office for the Mass. Maisie and JJ were still rodeoing so Francie and I drove home early that morning and Oma joined us for the special day. Francie chose the saint’s name Clare to honor her Oma too. We had a nice reception at the parish hall with strawberry cake and then a fun lunch at the Burgerhouse. Congrats Francie!
