I was down at my parents’ house for a visit yesterday and got to clear out their garage of another truck load of our returned meat boxes from customers who drop them off so we can reuse them again and again! Karen E had just returned 18 boxes from Modesto and Doreen brought 12. How awesome are our customers?! And my sweet Dad for stacking them all in their cute garage awaiting my next visit. 😊 We invest a lot in these custom built insulators that ensure our meat arrives safely and temperature controlled to our customers every time. Trust me, I’ve scoured the earth nothing works better than these do! They are an investment, so we really appreciate being able to use them again and again. For all of our customers who aren’t near the Bay Area, we have a library book donation program that allows customers to place a used book or two in their used box and send it back to us Media Rate through the US Post Office. We have so many people in our community who benefit from this program and are so thankful for all the books! And although some postal workers say “huh!?” – the head Post Master told us it’s a fantastic use of the media rate program! For those customers who can’t get to a post office – we will also send a prepaid UPS label if you have saved up three or four boxes to tape together as one big, very lightweight, box, which makes it economical for us to ship the boxes and liners back to us as well. We get MOST of our boxes back from customers which allows us to keep our shipping rates down and reuse the materials over and over. Reuse, recycle and resend to our awesome customers allows us to keep providing you with the best best deliveries around! #thankyou #fivemarys #m5boxreturn #shopfivemarys #fivemarysmeats

Sisters! A rare photo of them… during the last High School Rodeo finals in between rain clouds and events. Maisie isn’t competing this weekend (she’s 8th grade so competes in Junior High) but she’s the best supporter of her sister and always is. ♥️♥️ *and yes I think they are almost the same height now too! #francieandmaisie #m5sisters #myfourmarys #m5maryfrances #m5marymarjorie

I miss the pig-obsessed Tiny Tess at three years old… and my Dixie girl! Time moves too quickly doesn’t it? Good thing I love the saucy 10-year-old version of this cute girl equally as much. ♥️ #m5memories 📸 @kathryngamblephoto #m5maryteresa

We had a great rodeo weekend! Thursday night breakaway jackpot at our house, Friday and Saturday was the District 1 High School rodeo and then our local rodeo Sunday. Francie won barrel racing the first day, placed second the next day and won the average! Not much luck for anyone in the roping events but Tess and JJ rocked calf riding and the girls rode in a very special tribute for Miles. 💛 It’s great to have our rodeo friends on our home turf for this rodeo! @m5rodeo #m5rodeo

We made it to Red Bluff last night for a barrel race all four girls ran in. It was nice to get some sunshine (Brian working on his phone with his lap dog 😜) while the girls tacked up horses and then turned into a late night with 247 barrel racers! Francie and Red had a nice clean run and ended up in the bottom of the 1D (top tier times within half a second of the fastest runner – if she was a couple hundredths of a second *slower* she would have won $900 and a buckle winning the 2D but she’s proud of racing with these fast gals in the top!) Tess and Solo are learning to work together (and pretty cute out there, she’s one of the youngest to enter) – Maisie and JJ had good, really fast runs but both barely knocked the second barrel. Got to spend a night at Oma’s filling up her barn and her beds! On to the next.. #m5rodeo @m5rodeo #myfourmarys #m5maryteresa #m5maryjane #barrelracers

Happy 14th Birthday to the sweetest, baldest, binky-loving, quiet and thoughtful little baby girl who is growing up into a beautiful, observant, kind and thoughtful young lady! We love you Maisie Moo. *and sorry I accidentally bought you 1 and 3 balloons, I promise I knew you weren’t turning 13 again. Just wishful thinking. ♥️

Branding day at the neighbor’s was a good day for Tess! She and Solo were in the branding pen, roping with encouragement and a little help… that proud smile says it all. 😊

Happy Easter! We are on the road to a rodeo clinic today and my instagram stopped working on my phone this week… so I am posting some of my favorite Easter memories! Francie and that creepy bunny and those matching dresses… seems like yesterday! I hope your day is full of faith, family and fun.
