Cut : Five Marys dry-aged ground beef

Ingredients :
1 pound Five Marys Farms ground beef
1 teaspoon olive oil
8 slider buns
8 thinly sliced fresh pineapple rings, sliced in half
8 butter lettuce leaves
Simple teriyaki sauce:
1/2 cup soy sauce
2-3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon sesame seeds
1 garlic clove, minced
1 teaspoon yellow mustard
1/4 teaspoon cracked black pepper
Thai basil mayo:
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup Thai basil
1 small garlic clove
Kosher salt and pepper to taste
Instructions :
- Divide the hamburger into 8 even portions.
- Form each portion into a round, flat patty.
- Fry the patties in the olive oil over medium-high heat 6-8 minutes. Remove the patties and set aside.
- Fry the pineapple in the same pan with the hamburger drippings until golden and caramelized, about 2 minutes per side.
- To assemble the sliders, place 1 teaspoon mayo on the bottom slider bun.
- Put meat on the bun, spoon teriyaki sauce over top, and top with a few slices of caramelized pineapple and the butter lettuce. Serve hot!
- To prepare the teriyaki sauce, whisk all ingredients in a bowl, and set aside.
- To prepare Thai basil mayo, whirl all ingredients in the food processor until thoroughly chopped and mixed well.
