The girls are so lucky to have such a close relationship with their Dad – Brian is their favorite person around. They love working with him or riding around in the truck running errands with him, they tell him everything (junior high boys provide lots of entertainment) and tease each other with funny banter (mostly Francie, she gives it to him and he gives it right back!)

This week we snuck away to Oregon for a few family days together and Francie really wanted to get her ears pierced (Maisie got hers pierced for Christmas and Aunt Kat took her to Bend for it!) so Brian said “jump in, let’s do it.” and off they went together to Bend to find the Claire’s store for ear piercings.

I love that she chose a cross for her earrings (rodeo girls love their crosses) and I know she will always remember her dear old Dad taking her to get her ears pierced.
