Bulleit Bourbon at the Ranch!

Since bars and restaurants are just about back to normal (!!!) I was excited when my friend Kyle from Bulleit Bourbon reached out about having a fun Bulleit event at the ranch to celebrate some bartenders and chefs that worked so hard during the shut down.

We had a great crew arrive at the ranch on Thursday evening and they were greeted by our signature Bulleit sidecars. We had our tents set up with some Five Marys and Bulleit gear and gave everyone some time to get settled in. After a bit we all loaded in the Can-Ams and headed up to the saddle – one of my absolute favorite views. It was the perfect time to get to know everyone a little bit and show them the ranch.

We returned from the saddle and had an awesome dinner of Five Marys steaks, baked potatoes, and salad. We enjoyed some additional Bulleit sidecars and s’mores around the campfire. The highlight of the night was listening to our very own live music from musician Taylor Lee Phillips.

On day two everyone woke up and had a breakfast of Five Marys sausage burritos and some pour over coffee. We drove up to Etna summit – what a stunning view! – then hiked to Taylor Lake. After hanging out by the water for a bit, we headed back to camp for lunch!

Everyone was pretty tired from yesterday’s late night of music, so everyone relaxed and chatted by the pool. Before dinner, we headed out on our ranch tour! Brian and I each took a crew. We headed out in the pastures to show everyone our cows, sheep, and pigs. We stopped in the test kitchen and it was really neat to be able to talk about the whole process with other chefs and bar owners.

After our ranch tour we headed to the Burgerhouse! Taylor played music again – this time for the local community! We enjoyed some ‘Bulleit and Burgers’ and had such a fun night of good food, good music, and good company. On the third day, everyone woke up and had a big breakfast before heading back home! It was such a pleasure having such wonderful people to camp and it was really exciting to partner with the Bulleit brand that I love so much. Can’t wait to do it again!
