We all feel pretty lucky we got to be a part of the California State Finals Rodeo with Francie!! She had a fantastic first performance barrel race with a 17.80 seconds putting her 12th in the first go round. The second performance wasnt what she hoped for with two barrels down but thats the way rodeo goes! We spent all week in beautiful Bishop CA with rodeo families from our district and all over the state. We ate well at trailer camp and made more of great memories! Last night these rodeo kids got all dolled up for RODEO PROM in sequins and dresses under those district vests a beautiful group of ladies inside and out genuine friends who root for their team mates even when they compete against each other and the biggest hearts.
